What is the ACA?
The Affordable Care Act (ACA) makes comprehensive health insurance available to individuals and families who don’t have affordable employer coverage, Medicare, or full-scope Medicaid. ACA plans cover essential health benefits, including doctor visits, emergency care, hospitalization, maternity and newborn care, mental health services, prescription drugs, pediatric care, preventive services, and more. Pre-existing conditions are covered.

Who qualifies?
You can shop the Marketplace if you:
• Live in the U.S. and are lawfully present
• Aren’t eligible for Medicare
• Don’t have an offer of affordable employer coverage

Financial help may reduce your monthly premium and out-of-pocket costs, depending on your household size and income. Note: the enhanced premium tax credits that lowered costs in recent years are scheduled to expire at the end of 2025 unless extended by Congress, which could raise 2026 premiums for many households.

Why Choose ACA Health Insurance?

Affordability: The ACA offers subsidies and tax credits to help lower-income individuals and families afford health insurance. This means you can get the coverage you need without breaking the bank.

Comprehensive Coverage: All ACA-compliant plans cover a wide range of essential health benefits, including:

Protection for Pre-existing Conditions: Under the ACA, insurance companies cannot deny coverage or charge higher premiums based on pre-existing conditions. This ensures that everyone has access to the care they need.

Preventive Care: Many preventive services, such as vaccinations, screenings, and annual check-ups, are covered at no additional cost to you. This helps you stay healthy and catch potential issues early.
